is this ok?
i want to settle down with a routine for a while and not change it eveyr couple of days
Do SS. Get the book, read it and follow the proggram.
Now close this thread.
Greyskull will work well. Most important thing is that you stick with something and are making constant progress.

Don't listen to this dunce, Greyskull is a much better variation of Starting Strength. Really, the main differences are the lower squat to everything else ratio, as well as more upper body volume to round your up physique.

It's enjoyable to run, but it's too aggressive about deloads. Deload when you fail a new weight three times, and consider doing 3x3 instead of 1x5 deadlifts, 1x5 once a week is not enough

this.

it should say 1x5+ (AMRAP)
deadlifts AMRAP once a week is enough for your CNS

Having run GSLP for 3 months, I can guarantee that 1x5 once a week is not enough. Even counting the last warm up set, the volume is so low that it will stagnate.
Maybe rather than 3x3, do 1x5 according to program and 2x3 at the last warm up weight. But I absolutely assure you that GSLP is not good for deadlifts

How long does it take you to complete a typical workout like this?
I do about 6-8 exercies a workout and it takes me just slightly over an hour.
I feel like I would be done with this workout in 40minutes.

Okay, tnx for the correction
would it be okay to do GSLP 4days/week as a beginner starting with just the bar?

This is what I did for 6 months. After 6 months of hard bulking I hit a 495 deadlift, 405 squat, 255 Bench, and 140x5 OHP. Could do 185 x5 Pendlay and 8 good full ROM Pullups
