I have been thinking lately.
To build muscle you need to work out that muscle. When you train you destroy it and then it repairs and grows bigger. For it to grow bigger you need nutrients. Mainly protein.
Eating does not build muscle. "Calories" do not magically turn into muscle.
If you eat a caloric surplus without working out you gain FAT.
So my question: Can I gain muscle mass without having to eat like a fuckin retard scorgin down 3500 kcal?
If I just get enough proteins and nutrients to support muscle growth ??????????
Can any smart guy help me?
Do we have a biochemist here?

No. Your body needs energy(calories) in addition to protein to build muscle. If you have a decent amount of body fat, I'd say 15%+, you will get some gains as long as you get the necessary amount of protein though not as much as you would with a caloric surplus.

Your body still needs all of it's macros or you will starve

Of course. If you get enough protein for protein synthesis and breakdown with your caloric deficit, then you'll still put on muscle. That's how you cut correctly. Just make sure you're still getting enough carbs and fats to survive, though.
