Sodium is hard for me to limit with the foods I am eating cause salt is in so much stuff.
I've been able to limit myself to 2300mg a day, but that's not including any sort of seasoning for chicken or salt in eggs.
Is it okay to eat like 3000mg a day while drinking a ton of water or is 3000 still an issue?
I don't want to be eating too much on a daily basis.
Has sodium even been definitively labaled as bad by scientists?

I am not sure, but too much of it can probably end up messing with you in some way.
Potassium can reduce sodium's bad effects (including water retention).

Sodium is essential to live, but an excess is bad. Labeling it definitively bad would pretty much have any scientist anywhere laughed out of the field.

As long as you don't eat more than 6g a day you should be fine.

if you go on keto you need a shit ton of salt. I don't think its that bad but listen to the guy about getting your potassium.

Too little is worse than too much, unless you take ridiculous amounts.

I use salt replacement with 70% pottasium both to increase my daily intake and to reduce sodium. Mostly use it for seasoning, there was a half sodium half pottasium product called redusalt which tastes exactly like salt, this 70% stuff tastes a bit mettalic
