Sobriety General

There are a lot of calories in both beer and wine, my favorite drinks.

I like them, but I like being /fit/ more.

Sobriety is fine,
People who say sober folk are boring are just projecting their own insecurities.
Changed to sobriety after alcohol dependency was ruining my health & financial situation.
May occasionally have a social one over the festive period but tend not to.
Alcohol hasn't any benefits for you, eat well sleep well & train properly. You'll get a better kick from it & reap many more benefits.

what is the definition of sober?
never understood that, am i an alcoholic if i drink once a week, once a month, once a year?
last social drink was 3 weeks ago am i sober?
i guess if you get shitfaced every day you need help

I was never really a big drinker, but I do enjoy smoking weed. Now drugs just aren't really fun for me anymore. They make me feel morose and shitty. I'm also trying to reexamine my friend group, because there are a few friends I've realized I don't really have any shared interests with besides partying/getting fucked up. I want to be around other people that have passions and hobbies besides just chilling.

I haven't had a drink since late October. I just got tired of hangovers. Smoke a bit ever once in a while but even that was months ago.

36 days sober. completely cut it off because i was full blown degenerate.

lifted for 1,5 years without making ANY muscle gains (only str gains).

Made more muscle gains this month alone than past 1,5 years combined.
