How much do you walk every day?
Do you usually take subway or Uber or use your car or take walks instead, if the distance is reasonable?

I just measured on google maps and I walk about 3 miles on working days (1.5 each direction)

3.2 miles every day. Downhill mornings uphill evenings. It's only about 30 minutes each time very reasonable but a bitch now because it's hot.

Started walkimg around 10km/day for the last 2 months, usually after dinner, it feels really good

I live in a very walkable city though. Even for fun there are lots of footpaths and places to walk.
>>
According to my phone I walk about 3000 steps on a day where I'm off work and 16000-20000 on a typical workday (retail) with a record of 22642 (drunken dancing night before + busy shift).
>>
I bike mostly, around 10km each day. If I walk, it's the same distance. I never use public transportation in my city.
>>
For 1 mile or less I'll walk usually
For 4 miles or less I'll bike unless weather is bad
Car is last resort but gets frequent use in winter

15-17 km a day. Not counting the morning jog when I, well, jog.

kind have related question for anyone here

im just trying to get into exercising in general, cardio and lifting
my bmi is nearly underweight and i have no muscle and basically the body of a kid with slight pudge from being inactive
my metabolism has kept me at a consistent weight my whole life though

how should i handle my nutrition? should i be eating at a deficit or aiming for a surplus?
im in the middle of just trying to correct my eating habits in general, daily nutrients etc.
so im very much a beginner.
>>
I don't walk a lot, even though I enjoy going outside for a walk
>>
I work as a mailman, so 10-13 miles a day. ~25000 steps just at work.

should i just stick to 20 mins of walking/jogging with some light exercise like pushups before i start intentionally trying to cut or bulk?

If your BMI is low and you are lifting, definitely bulk.
