I don't ever train my lower body. I have naturally thick thighs and ass and I don't want them any thicker. Been working my upper body only for almost 2 years now. Look pretty built even by /fit/ standards. Ohp at 1+ plate 5x5 and bench at 2+ plates 5x5. I lie to normies all the time about the importance of training legs, kek. I tried deadlifting for the first time in almost a year a few days ago, pulled 130kg on my first attempt without breaking a sweat.

I'm a novice and finishing up a cut so my advice might not be so useful, but I just do the main lifts and one accessory for each body part listed. Once I start to bulk I will probably do 2. Right now I do rows and chins for back, curls for biceps, chest dips, and Arnold press and lateral raises for shoulders. Personally I think the volume for legs in the main program is fine but leg curls and calf raises would probably be good.

My only lift above the 1/2/3/4 threshold is my OHP. In pounds, currently at 145/205/285/335. Push press is at 165 pounds.

I'm wondering if it's from the fact that I used some terrible machines from my apartment gym, and the only free weight was an ez bar with 2 5's, 2 10's, and 2 25's that I would use for all 4 of the exercises. It didn't help that I could put all the weight on and do every single lift with ease (I would literally clean and jerk and put it on my shoulders so I could squat with it each time I wanted to squat), and that the machines were pretty limited.

Feels weird as fuck, but after being at an actual gym for a few months now, things are starting to stabilize a bit.

What you need to do is go to the gym and not even workout. Just make yourself comfortable. Youve bitten off more than you can chew.

Just go to gym, sign up, and use the toilet, check the machines. Maybe even have a shower. DO NOT PLAN TO WORK OUT.

Then go again in a few days, do the same again, change into gym clothes, maybe even go on an exercise bike slowly for 15 mins. Then shower and leave.

Then go agan a few days after that and squat just the barbell. And if you can, bench press just the barbell.

You need to set small goals and work up as what you are currently doing isnt working. Best thing you can do is slowly build the habit of going to the gym, to remove those mental barriers. Then ONLY WHEN you have that habit you start actually working on a program like starting strength.

I have so god damn long femurs too and what I found that felt most natural was actually zercher squats and that is because the bar is so far forward that I can actually manage to stand pretty upright and still hit my glutes and hams and quads like a motherfucker and without even feeling it in my lowerback, traps, lats,but I do feel it heavely in the deep thoracic "extenders" jst like front squat but this is more extreme.

Same. I got hit by a truck on my bike last fall (inb4 cyclist hate, dude was on his phone and ran a stop sign) and got some nerve damage in my leg. I couldnt walk normally for a bit and couldn't lift legs for several months.

My bench and squat were already fairly close, so when I started again I was squatting 1pl8 to get back into it and my bench had gone up to 205lb. I was squatting 2pl8 before so I should get back up there in a few months hopefully.
