How much should I train to be able to do a split?

A lot. Some, maybe.
But are you asking how useful it is, or how much you need to train to do one?

this
every day won't be too much?

Personally, I followed a week long program a few times in order to do them. I only ever really took a day off if I really felt sore from the prior session.
My advice is to feel it out and don't be too extreme during your sessions. If you feel strained doing it every day, don't.

Start at age of 6-10 or forget it. Its attainable in adult age, but absolutely not worth it since will damage your tissues severely.

You won't necessarily be able to no matter how much you train. Hip anatomy varies.

This is about squatting but of course the orientation of the ball of your femur and the socket on your pelvis affects your ability to do the splits.
