I was once at my university gym enjoying a nice joocy chest day when a guy about 6' 200lbs came up to me and asked if he can work in with me (was using cables for flies)
I said yes, and we started talking about our majors, etc. when he out of the blue asked, "feelin fit buddy?" I knew the appropriate response but I didn't want to come off as autismo so I just said "yeah, I am"

They do a mix of the virgin walk and manually walking like they're been reading threads and infographics on how to appear alpha and confident, but they don't actually possess those qualities and you both subconsciously feel it, so something just feels off. Also poor grooming, clothing, and you can see in their faces that they are in their head and not really "present". They also often speak and walk slower than normal people.

There was this socially awkward skelly in my gym that always came during my shifts and he was doing SS so I talked to him and I'm pretty sure he browses here because he was saying stuff like brosplits and how most trainers don't know anything and he knows more than them from reading things online (sticky?)

When I was a college freshmen one of my classmates who had come up to uni from the same highschool as I did revealed himself to be a /fit/izen. He was a skinnyfat manlet nerd.

Five years later and he's still a skinnyfat manlet nerd. He does, however, have a few facebook photos of himself holding up empty protein powder and milk jugs.

He also banged a landwhale or two and he's currently dating a girl who is comfortably overweight.

I ended up dating the fit dude, he was chill in the end. I realized the asexual aura came from him not being what I expected from a guy who looks like him. I felt pretty shitty for that actually and we broke only because I got a grant for abroad.
