Hey /fit/,
I remember reading somewhere that your body can only digest a certain amount of proteins per meal.
Is there any truth to this? How many is it? Information on the internet seems to be conflicting

It's been a while since I read the sticky, but it may actually touch on this.
Anyway, like many things in nutrition, it's very difficult to test because there's so much variance in people's bodies. Moreover, there's a limitation to how much they can actually test due to ethical limitations by the Institutional Review Board.
I have always heard that your body cannot digest more than 35 Gs of protein at any given time, so you have to have small meals throughout the day just to get your gains. Five meals a day at 35 Gs each meal would result in 175 grams of protein.
While that might be adequate for most of us, some of the guys on fit are power lifters who are easily over 200lbs.
You just have to try what's best for you and don't experiment too hard on your body with anything crazy. I've found that multiple meals around 30 - 35gs work best for me.
