Hi
Lived in the tropics for most of my life. Recently relocated to a more temperate weather zone.
It's not super cold but still cold enough that I can't weather a T shirt and shorts to gym in. Not sure what I should wear now.
It's 14C during the day. Gym isn't heated much.
Advice?

you've got to go back.

Don't go there man. I love the tropics but it was dead. Super isolated and nothing to do.

Sounds like you need to man the fuck up. I hiked 20 minutes in the snow to get to my gym, which was a converted concert hall so it had a draft like a barn, and worked out for 2 hours in an unheated room, in shirt and shorts, where I could see my breath and the barbells stung they were so cold. Then, had to hike back home afterwards. Pic related.

God damn Canadians.
Until my body acclimatises to the weather, I need to cover up.
I'd like to see you exercise in 35C+ weather with 95% humidity. You're Canadian ass would have a stroke.
But I'm not being a dick. Seriously how hard is it to suggest some gym gear for colder weather? Why you have to go all fsggot on me and try to act macho. It's the Internet nobody cares about it

Buy some under armour or something? Or start rocking long johns?

Or you can go full slav. An adidas tracksuit probably isn't that expensive. At least you'll be able to get good squat gains.

Long sleeve Under Armour shirt? The generic version is pretty cheap.
I'd recommend rocking the Under Armour leggings too, if you're secure enough in your masculinity.
Shorts and a hoodie?
>14C
>too cold to wear a t-shirt and shorts
>inside nonetheless
go home mohammed
This isn't worthy of its own thread, can I tag on here?
Should I get athletic shoes for the gym? If so, what kind? I mainly want to begin lifting and do light cardio.

you could buy some long sleeve thermal shirts, Columbia has good ones. Legs just wear sweatpants.
