i started at about 28%, plus or minus 2%. currently 17% and honestly it's been the easiest since getting under 20%. once you drop around there, if you're anything like me your appetite will shrink and energy will go up.
keep going my man, and i'd recommend going a bit further if you can stick with it. calorie partitioning is more beneficial in the 10-15% range. a guy at 12% will gain more muscle and less fat, while eating the same surplus, as a guy at 22%. that was my reason to shoot for 10%. cutting sucks,so i want to be able to be in a lean mass phase for as long as possible

It's easy to push yourself beyond what's sustainable, particularly when you're first starting. I realize it's frustrating, but it's a lot less frustrating than aggravating a knee injury.

Progression is going to depend on how you feel when exercising. If you're feeling really solid, not just during the exercise, but the next day as well, start incrementally adding intensity or extra time and distance.

Basically the two big traps are: 1) When you're first starting out you push yourself too hard do something that's not sustainable because you don't know your body's responses yet.

2) You get too greedy with progression, and wind up exhausting yourself. I've heard it referred to as "Training to injury".

Calorie counting is the only way I could do it since the differences in what I eat are so small and barely noticable from before.
But that being said, counting is a guaranteed way not to fail which so many of us usually do when left at our own devices.

Yes, it starts in elementary school, I think it was 3rd grade or 4th grade.
But we do have to choose a 2nd foreign langugae later if we go to the Gymnasium (best of the 3 different types of highschool equivalents in german education) and sometimes even a 3rd langugage.
I had english, latin and spanish, although I dropped spanisch after half a year.

I started a little something that might help me lose weight. Every time I get frustrated with a video game (MOBAs usually) or bored I do a set of 6 to 12 jumping jacks, which at 300 lbs really get my breathing and blood going. I got some scales when cutting last year, after the first 10lb loss my weight stalled for 3 months even though I was eating 1200cal and working out with no cheating. I was going insane. I measured myself and my waist had gone down 1.5 inches. I grow herbs, tomatoes (beef, grape, and plum), chili pequin and chili serrano, green onions, strawberries, bell peppers, celery, spinach, butter lettuce, squash, spanish onions, and I have a pecan tree, fig tree, and lemon/orange tree.

Single mom, worked late hours. Had school lunch at 10:30am and then dinner at 9pm. So I'd either be starving at night or eating unhealthy snacks to hold me over.

Dinner usually ended up being KFC, pizza, etc because my mom was too tired to cook.

marinade your chicken first

then put some parchment paper down and use a meat tenderizer to flatten the chicken breasts and then cut them to size, flattened chicken breast cook more evenly, so it wont be raw in the middle and overcooked on the edges. I do them about 3 minutes a side on the grill. If you don't have a grill, just bake or pan fry them.

cooking large chunks of food (esp meat), especially for a short period of time, will make it cook unevenly

baking it is really easy. things you need:

baking pan (i have a pyrex 3qt which was like $15-$20)
tongs (so you dont get chicken juices on your hands)
cutting board
chef's (butcher's) knife
tin foil
chicken
broccoli

preheat oven to 400
put 2 breasts in a baking pan upside down
season the bottom of the chicken fillet
flip it over
season the top
cut up some broccoli
throw it in the pan around the chicken
cover with tin foil
when the oven is done preheating, put it in for 35 minutes

I hit my puberty growth spurt late, so I was the smallest kid in class. Was always told I should eat more to get big, so I developed bad eating habits and ate ridiculous portion sizes. When I eventually did hit my growth, I just ended up overweight.
Did a lot of youth sports, but once puberty hits there's just such an unfair disadvantage between the early and late bloomers, that it turned me off from sports altogether.

long story short, my mom forced me to get medicated or else I would be admitted to a psychiatric hospital because she feared I was going to fail my academic year.
The medication had side effects such as general fatigue, apathy, ravenous increase of appetite and loss of feeling of satiety. Not to mention the drug worked on dopamine receptors with antagonists to basically make me unhappy and docile - I was a bit of a hyperactive happy person before and my parents thought I would escape their clutch if they didn't do anything to restrain me.
I became depressed, drugged into submission so food became my crutch for a fleeting moment of pleasure.
Now I am one month off that medication, one month in my weight loss journey after two years and almost 20 kgs gained.
I've lost confidence that I will ever get back the neurological conditions - mostly my dopamine receptors unfucked - I had before and be able to experience pleasure again, but at least I want to be a healthy detached person.

Can I eat the same breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day, (healthy, low kcal) workout, and lose weight for a decent amount of time? I KNOW it won't work forever, but I'm at least 300lbs right now and I want to know it it'll at least work for the first 100 I want to lose.

I know no one cares, but here's what I've been eating every day for the past week and what I want to continue eating for the foreseeable future:

Breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs in 2 tortillas, nothing in them
2 tangerines or small bowl of grapes

Lunch:
Small bowl of All Bran
Apple

Dinner:
Turkey sandwich with American cheese
2 tostadas

no you should be switching it out for meat or cottage cheese. You need to count calories, use myfitnesspal. That sammich could be 600 calories alone. 2 corn tortillas could be 50 cals each, 2 larger flour tortilla could be 150 cals each. The tostadas could be any amount of calories depending on what you put on them. Nobody can tell you how many calories you are eating without knowing the full details and serving sizes. Use the TDEE calculator at the top of the page, enter your height and weight at sedentary level. That is how many cals you cant eat over. Then eat 500 calories or more less than that. It's that simple.

Progress update:

I've lost cm all round my body, here is me now what do you guys think? I'm 118kg at the moment however according to my doctor and fitness coach, my healthy weight should be at around 100kg due to my size.

cause too high heat is the problem for why you get burnt outside + undercooked inside of anything
