>few hundred calories short of my daily goal on my first day
>decide to finish the day eating as many almonds as I can

went from a disgusting 155 marathon runner at 6'0, destroyed my left knee, to a 205 milk man powerlifting neckbeard. At first you don't know what bulking really means... I see this all the time; you have to eat until it fucking hurts for a lil while. Getting from 175 - 205 was painful until about 185. I think people hit a new caloric / metabolic homeostatic point after eatin BIG for a while. Use a mass gainer, but make sure its a good clean one (see also: expensive).

Just keep eating anon, eat until you want to cry.

I forget to add:

Bulk with clean food. Eat a lot of oats, eat a fuckload of nuts (more than you already do you fucking faggot), drink an assload of whole milk, eat fruit all the godamn time. At the same time you're doing this, also eat a lot of vegetables so you can avoid upset stomachs / heartburn. Greens reduce inflammation and decrease recovery times. Good luck skelly.
