Hi /fit/, so I'm doing a ppl split routine that has flat and incline bench press and overhead press as it's main chest exercises. I was thinking of adding dips to it. Good or bad idea?

If I were you I'd just drop flat bench and replace with weighted dips

Dips are great. But that sounds like a dumb way to split, why not spread those exercises over two arm days?

Yeah man go for it. I like to throw them in the back end of my workout as a burn out kind of thing.
When I have no access to a gym however (i.e. going into the field), I prioritize heavy dips and heavy pull ups. My belief is that these two are the squats and deadlifts of the upper body.
So yeah man go for it see if it works for you

Get rid of incline. Do OHP first, then bench, then dips.
