keto is about 70% as effective as fasting. it's best to combine them though.

For long-term sustanable change of the shitty eating habits that made you fat in the first place? Neither. Neither are sustainable.

For short-term weight (probably mostly water) loss before you go back to eating like a retard and regain all your weight? Then both are fine.
