Front Squat

Calisthenic + cardio fag here, but i thought front squat was done with the bar resting on the front of your shoulders instead of the back of them, as the name implies. Or am i wrong

i do Back and Front squats for my leg day. i feel that front squats hit the hamstrings more though. not sure it hit the quads more than back squats.

also i usually doing back squats, followed by front squats. Should i switch up the order and focus more on front squats? i do want some glutes tho

yeah the image is wrong. but i find the form to be easier to do that back squats. like my ROM is always better. But you can't go as heavy as you normally do with back squats
