I go with Kirkland multigrain bread. It's all whole grain and there's more fiber than sugar preventing the blood sugar spike. Without a blood sugar spike there's no excess energy to be turned into fat.
why?

I haven't eaten bread regularly in close to five years, up until I met my gf 6 months ago.
She got me to start buying from Costco - now we have some sort of high-protein multigrain bread a few times a week.

Eh, it´s easy 900 kcal for me, so i dont see a reason to skip it during a bulk.
I had a hamburger yesterday after 3 months of keto. I can officially say I have no interest in bread anymore. It's just trash.
