Fairly accurate, I dont have a food scale to measure out my chicken breast so I may be off an ounce or two but I read labels and servings.
I aim for 1800 my TDEE is somewhere between 2300 and 2500 from various calculators
at most im underestimating my intake by 200 but I feel like thats still enough of a deficit to where I should be losing slightly faster

Yesterday I publically promised my /fat/bros that I wouldn't go over 1000kcal for the day, and I just want to follow up saying I actually held that up.

Shit was difficult since my parents bought McDonald's when I specifically told them not to get me anything. They bought a McChicken "just in case".

But I held up, and now I just got to maintain my deficit. Again, I just need to remember that I am in control, that my decision to lose weight and eat better was my choice.

Played D&D with some friends yesterday and couldn't help myself from having half a medium pizza (at least it was veg) and three beers. About 1275 cal in total. I made my other meals smaller but still ended up going over by 500 cal for the day because beer and pizza does shit for actually making you feel full.

As someone who has overeaten most of my life, I'm counting calories to be aware of I'm eating. Once I've dropped the weight I plan on stopping and using a scale to judge more generally. My diet changes are permanent, so I assume in the time it takes to become healthy I'll have learned enough about my eating habits to not need such close monitoring.

You should know one approach doesn't fit everyone, though.

I'd been 10-15kg overweight for many years. I was working out 5 days a week and exhausting myself in the process. I was obsessed with constantly getting rid of foods I loved because I thought they were magically making me fat. Pizzas, cakes and ice cream was a treat I allowed myself one or twice a year.

But guess what, the 300g salad I was eating (no mayo) turned out to be 800 kcal. Many other healthy foods turned out to contain more than I'd imagine. I now eat potatoes, peanut butter and loads of meat and I've gone down from 91kg to 86kg in a month. And guess what, I don't starve anymore.

Your suggestions would had kept me where I was for god knows how many more years.

You are now free to leave forever and don't come back.

I've eaten a donut every day for the last three days.
Also taco bell out of 2 of those days.
That said I was able to come in under my diet number 2/3 of those days. I forgot how tasty tortillas were. The last day fills me with a lot of guilt, but the donut was from a local small bakery and it was good shit.

Your weight isn't a (direct) function of your dietary choices, it's a binary switch with only two states, gaining and losing. So you can't cut out soda and expect it to stabilize at a new slightly lower weight, if you're over your TDEE you'll still be getting fatter, just slower.
Counting calories and regular weigh-ins help people learn their TDEE and how much of which foods they can eat to stay under it, which is pretty much guaranteed to steer them towards healthier choices as those are much less calorie dense.

If it's not working, you know you need to go further. Decrease to 1600 a day and go gym 4 times a week. I've lost 3lb over 2 weeks doing that.

Sure some days you will go slightly over but it's better to have that buffer before 1800 if you decide you want a small snack.

So I'm looking to lose around 25kg. That's how much fat I need to lose to have an average/fit looking body.
I've been calorie cutting hard. Currently having around 500-700 daily (from my fatass 3k+) most of that being protein, or excess from energy drinks.
I have a decent metabolism, but my body gains most of it's weight in my back, and my stomach. I can't afford a gym membership, but I have been doing push ups (for tri and bi ceps), crunches, bridges, sit ups, stretches, hour walks, squats.
I want to lose weight, but I don't want to bulk in the process.
Am I going in the right way? Can I get cardio exercise recs?

Mother got cancer, I went to my friends, realized I had no friends. I had a mental breakdown and figured out that my life isn't valueless, and that also it would be cool to rub it in my fat fuck friends' faces when I lost weight. It's been great, this one fag who gave me the cold shoulder over my mother is now 260lbs and I'm 205. At the start I was 320 and he was around 200.

I'm still pretty depressed and lonely though, I'm trying to rebuild some basic friendships, still living at home makes it very awkward. Worthless with your height and weight. 500-700 calories can and will backfire on you. I eat like 800-1000 calories during the weekdays but go double that during the weekends. I would also look into blogalites (actually fixing to start this myself)

This means a hammer, a basic set of screwdrivers, wrenches, a screwgun and drill set, measuring tape, etc. Basic tools. You don't need to start your own contracting business. Just watch for sales, tools are typically steeply discounted often, wrench kits that are a ridiculous $400 can often be had for $50 on sale. So check with flyers. The money you can save by learning how to use tools is invaluable.

Also I'm not going to lie and I'll tell you how I lost those 8.1 kgs : I was on a 1000 kcal deficit, did 24:1 IF which was technically OMAD, while on keto and almost 80 % raw vegan (I am working on it); added to fact that I did 1hour of exercise per day (25 mins of HIIT cardio, 45 mins of lifting divided in upper body, lower body and a glute oriented workout + 25 mins of abs every two days), what is so improbable about it? I know I basically starved myself to get there but so what? I did it because of personal need to see change short term, and when I am done losing the remaining weight, I'll start good with a clean slate.
I posted because I figured we could use some female progress pics for what it's worth, even though I didn't have a before pic, but whatever. I'll show up again with updated pics before next month to prove you wrong, when I'll lose the remaining 5-7 kgs I want to lose and you'll see I am not lying.

I quit the weekly weight loss challenge.
My BMI is well in the "normal" range and I´m gaining muscles pretty fast at this point.
I basicly made it and will go more and more T-rex mode.
My goal from now on isn´t much weight loss anymore, but power gain.
