I'm almost repping 1/2/3/4 and I've permacut 100lbs. 30lbs more to go.

I can rep a 1pl8 strict OHP for 5 reps, multiple sets.
I can rep a 2pl8 bench for 5 reps, multiple sets.
Squats I'm at 295lbs for 5 rep max.
Diddlys I'm at 365lbs for 5 rep max.

I feel like squat/diddlys are the hardest gains wise in a cut. I consistently lose leverage as I'm cutting. Anyway you are stupid if you don't lift. It's like you WANT to look like a freak.

I'm pretty sure I saw a yt video on exercises targeting that area but it's in a different language, and also I am not convinced spot reduction works, you'd have to go lower in bf% then build some muscle to sculpt a shape you want in that region. the area doesn't have muscle but the closest is working on abs and lower back where the muscles front and back ties in by doing some isolations, then you might be able to virtually remove muffin tops.

Started my diet 2 weeks ago and lost 3lb so far. I'm happy with the results so far but a friend recommended increasing my cardio by double.

The only cardio I do is 10-15 minutes of either rowing, cycling or running before doing weights and a one off 5k run. So my change would be 20 mins cardio each session with two of them being 5k runs. Is it a good idea or will be just burn off muscle?

I just moved and didn't find any real friends yet.

When I feel lonely I skype with my family or go for a walk. Also it helps to try for friends. Message some colleagues. Maybe make plans to go out for a drink together after work. Also, take lessons... Drawing, languages, pottery, yoga, whatever you like.
It helps if you have something to feel excited about at least once a week. Even if it's an anxious excitement. You'll feel much better and less lonely when you go home.

Another 30lbs can do wonders. Everyone burns fat differently anon so don't worry about that. You're probably losing it in places you don't even notice right now. Also, make sure you're lifting and exercising. If I were you I would keep cutting to about 160-170 while also lifting and then doing a bulk and start lifting more seriously. At 5'11 you could get around 180-190 with some muscle and be pretty /fit/

First off I hardly am on /fit/ and only started coming here recently because I started feeling good about myself. I peaked sometime january or february at 227. First I cut calories (broke neet) and didn't change my diet at all. Then I started running 3 times a week, then 4, then 5. At first it was me struggling to do a mile maybe only just jogging half and then walking the rest.
I'm at 197 right now and haven't gained any of the weight back. I lift dumbbells 3 times a week with a quick jog after and do longer runs twice a week. I'm still a fatass, but I'm making progress and it feels good. My diet and general health is a lot better, my girlfriend is very pleased by the progress, and I just have overall more confidence and comfort.
People have been really supportive too. Something I've learned is that all of the worrying about

I know the feel. My TDEE is about 2,200 so I try to limit myself to 1,700 but a lot of days I'll only eat 1,200 or maybe a little less so then why I go back up to 1,700 I feel like I've cheated. But not really.

Good thing about that is that once I reach my goal and can eat at maintenance it will feel like I'm cheating every day even though it's waaaayyyy below what I used to eat before I started cutting.

What variation of IF do you /fat/s do? Curious because I do 16:8 and my first attempt to work out at the gym in a fasted hungry state ended poorly. I was too tired to lift, too tired to move my legs for cardio, and kept yawning nonstop.

I had to go back to the gym in evening just to make up for that pathetic morning workout.

How do you guys do it

What is your height? I'm 6'1", currently at 77, aiming for 72-70, started at 84, so your height should be similar to mine, most likely a bit more. When I bend my back like yours, I kinda get a similar gut, however it seems more defined, and my arms look more defined too (I don't have that much armpit fat, for example). If your goal is good looks, then I'd go for visible abs (which means more defined muscles in general), and 75-80 kilos seems like a reasonable estimate for that. pic related is me, just in case I'm delusional.

Not really. It's more just if I know someone who is fat and come to find out they're lazy/apathetic. I give most the benefit of the doubt that they have poor genetics or have a gland issue or something. I've met fatties who had just as bad a diet as I used to have but weighed hundreds of pounds heavier.

I've gotten tired of them because every single game I play I can't help but try and play the most "optimized" way, which takes a lot of the fun out of things, but it's hard not to play that way. I sort of suspect it may be that way for a lot of other people who have been gaming for a long time.

I try and find games nowadays that are very story based (I personally really enjoy the Dishonored series) or take that optimization idea and make it very hard to reach any ceiling (good example being Factorio).

That's just my take on how I've changed though.

I mean I hate to say it but she was one of my "wake up calls" to lose weight. I was tired of her calling us the "fat girls" and constantly joking about it. I'm still overweight but I will never let myself get to her level or anywhere close again. She can't do anything a normal person should be able to do. Just walking exhausts her, going from one room to the next at our job causes her to break out in a sweat and breathe heavy. She even has severe sleep apnea and jokes about it. I don't know how to get through to her when literally everything in her life is proof of how much her body is failing.
