>decide I want to get strong
>auschwitz mode and too autistic and scared to go to a gym
>decide to buy a power rack and an erg instead of getting a gym membership
>work out hard every two days
>make good gains on all compounds
fast forward to present
>friend tells me I should go to the gym with him
>first time there
>not used to seeing sweaty people all around me
>no power rack
>one squat rack that is in constant use
>worn out machines
>erg is so fucked it feels like pulling a feather even on the highest intensity
>constant shit music blasting
>people stare when they think it's not obvious but I clearly see it when I'm in front of the mirror
might just be that one gym but my experience was absolutely terrible, except for the cardio bunnies, how much am I really missing out on when I have a power rack and erg at home.
How many of you would get a home gym given the chance?
Just dont go to a shit gym
having a home gym is one of my life goals.

I don't go to gyms because too many hyper normies and I'm autistic as fuck. Would rather lift comfy in my house while blasting Wagner and pretending I'm a medieval warrior

I live in an apartment complex with a 24 hour gym that literally no one ever uses. Pretty great
lifting alone is one of life's greatest joys imo

Wtf is an erg
you can literally have a home gym set for <$500 from dicks sporting goods when shit is on sale
fitness gear olympic bench $200 (comes with rack that can be squatted on the backside)
fitness gear 300lbs olympic weights + barbell $200
all you need
i've added a weight tree for convenience and a big costco fan since my garage gets hot in ca summer, but nothing beats working out at home

If I had the space for a home gym I'd get one in a heartbeat. Fuck those dyel pajeets at my uni gym.
