Unless you live in a shitty 3rd world country pls bro drink WATER.
>>41786378
just stick to fucking water man
can anyone confirm if the sweetness of stuff like this will spike insulin levels regardless of caloric content?
>>41786378
I don't get all the autists on this board. Half of them are obsessed with monster the other half are HOW COULD YOU DRINK SOMETHING OTHER THAN WATER YOU'RE NEVER GONNA MAEK IT!!!!
I try not to drink more than 1 a day. It's good for an afternoon pick me up. Keeps me from eating shit with sugar in it. Just don't go overboard.
>>41786455
why would it spike insulin,
google before typing shit you retard
>>41786455
no it doesn't. shit, broscience really never dies.
>>41786481
you're right, googled it.
turns out artificial sweetners most likely do trigger insulin response. so yeah, pretty much as bad as sugar, regardless of caloric content
Nobody can try debunk these sodas.
I am not going to reccomend them or talk shit about them. But then again I'm no expert and im not fit.
However, I will say that I've never seen people who are truly fit actually drink them. I would say enjoy in moderation.

>y-yeah I googled it, it's bad
>no source
Fucking retard
if it triggered insuline spike i'd be diabetic long time ago, also, why don't drink a fuckton of coke zero after the workout for that extra anabolic insulin?
My apologies. Did some more reading up, turns out only a couple of different types or artificial sweetners affect insulin (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/2887503)
and one study suggested a few more did as well (https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18556090) but this was later disproven in further studies.
Turns out I was wrong, most artificial sweetners do not appear to affect insulin levels

medfag here
aspartame does not trigger insulin release at all, because it has a different molecular structure than sugars
also i wouldn't drink more than 1 per day, as it could have bad effects such as cancer etc (can't be studied yet because people haven't been consuming aspartame for long)
>>41786636
Somebody admitting they're wrong on /fit/?????
>>41786378
just drink it and die you weak fuck

My final verdict is that I like it. I drink a can once a week as some kind of "cheat soda" (like a cheat meal).
It works so far and it's a thousand times better than "Coke Light" (the bubbles of the Zero version are bigger and closer to the original).
