I'm 6'1 223 pounds down from 339. I've been doing SS since February with reasonable progress but I've hit a wall and nothing is working for progression. Should I move on to a routine or wait until I can do a proper bulk when I'm lean? My lifts are all as follows 3x5
Ohp 75
Rows 140
Bench 125
Squat 200
Deadlift 300
Was considering just focusing on cardio and calisthenics for a while until I'm lean. Is this a wise decision or should I keep lifting

>SS while losing weight
You just can't do the program losing weight.
I should know cause I lost 11 pounds so far and pic related.

>Bump
For what. You got your answer. You can't do the SS program on a cut and Rows aren't a main lift. You should be doing power cleans and pullups/chinups.

I don't care for power cleans i subsituted rows in for those instead, I'd like more than one perspective hence the bump.

>his best deadlift is 1/2 a pl8 after 6 weeks
umm, kiddo

Sounds more like Strong Lifts than SS

You can't do different lifts and say you are doing SS

U show u havent read ss....
Rip is adamant that you gain strength and lose the weight later, but i think if weight loss is more important to you maintaining your lifts while losing could be a good goal.
NOT DOING THE PROGRAM

change your routine and up protein. You need more volume to gain muscle and strength, while doing a cut. Do westside for skinny bastards and add pushups/pullups and squats amrap every offday.
Move on to stronglifts for a while then focus on a size or strength routine. Up your protein intake and aim at 1 pound per week of weight loss. You can always add calisthenics and cardio to your routine. Nice progress, keep up the good work. Get thicc. solid. tight.

Explain, or just point me to a page in the book.
