I started a job at UPS and I'm lifting heavy boxes all day. How do I lessen my soreness for the next day's work?
I work the same job anon and eating right sleeping and just basically not being a pussy.
Stretch, foam roll.
Eat well, hydrate, etc.
Get plenty of sleep. Eventually your body will get used to it and you won't get sore anymore. But if I were you, I'd start a lifting program to build some muscle, learn good form, and strengthen your back and core. Otherwise you WILL get injured at work, and that sucks a lot. Workers comp is not a good time.

I work loading. How much gains will this net me? I've never really done exercise before. I'm not super overweight. Around 190 I think.
Am I going to need to supplement this with other exercise if I want to notice any improvements?

Also it's not my arms that hurt that much but my legs.

You'll see some gains, but mostly just from transitioning from the couch to manual labor, so normie will notice but that's about it. And you'll plateau.
If your legs are sore, do some deep slav squats and some other stretches (touch your toes, stretch your groin, etc) the go for a leisurely walk, just to keep the blood flowing. I find that when I'm sore, if I just lie around it makes it worse.
I unload at a FedEx plant.
You'll be sore as fuck for a couple weeks. Just eat and sleep well and eventually your body will adapt. Make sure you relax and put the least amount of strain on your back as possible, keep it straight, bend your legs, drop the boxes a little bit so you don't have to bend down as far. Massaging out the soreness and stretching beforehand works wonders.

Get transferred to unloading the big semis. It takes more effort and you're under more pressure to do it quickly.
Body adapts. Also make sure you lift with legs not back - stay safe OP.

UPS Daddy pls make me wet arrgghhhh
Have few scoops of cottage cheese before bed, it'll make it better or make it go away completely. If you hate cottage cheese take one scoop of casein powder instead, but for the love of god don't mix it with milk or it'll turn into grainy pudding before you can finish mixing it up. Just use water instead
