Moving to America from e.Europe, what should I expect?

My country is super fit on average, almost everyone works out in Norway and we are also not manlets like Americans. 10/10 come here for gains, but chicken is expensive

Except real life isn't memes. Not as many people are obese, especially depending on where you're moving(citys and poor places have more fat people) and no one cares about your shoes. What state are you moving to?

If you go to affluent areas or expensive areas, you see less fat people. Going to walmart or mcdonalds, you're going to see a ton.

Yes, there are a lot of manlets, but that's mainly due to foreigners. When i'm in a large city, i tend to tower over mexicans and asians and am only 6'1. If your that height or above 5'10, probably going to feel like a demigod

I've been to America twice, for 2 months total. Yeah there are more fat people but it's not that big of a difference, the biggest difference are those ULTRA fat people who plain don't exist around here. The first time I saw someone driving on one of those scooters because she was too fat to walk was weird, to be sure

Also depending on your work, you might have to work a lot harder than in Europe, at least harder than around the socialist countries (I'm from Finland). Less vacations, less breaks, less sickleaves, less freedom in general when it comes to working.

As an American, welcome to the country. I sincerely hope that you enjoy it here. There is a lot for one to enjoy here, but much of the country is different by location. The American south will have a higher concentration of obese and blacks (might be related, though). I know someone who lived in Savannah Georgia and loved it, as well as people who loved living in Atlanta. If possible, visit other areas of the country too to find the best place for you to eventually stay.
