Does anyone have experience correcting kyphotic posture? What chest exercises should I do that won't work against me? I've been reading that I should avoid presses because they tighten the chest

There is no such thing as tightness. You are kyphotic because that is the way you body has learned to move. One can re-learn basic movement patters to remedy this, but it's hard.
But, as long as you manage to keep your scapulae working properly (which literally nobody does) you are fine. So you are fked.

It's funny how inaccurate that picture is, by the way. The usual typology of these postures involves hyperextended knees, but the guy in the picture likely cant do that, since his knees are healthy.
