Each leg press machine is different. I do 200kg at mine, and while I was visiting a friend, I went to his gym and struggled to hit 110

I thought they were supposed to be similar. So this doesn't mean my core is lagging behind or anything?

leg press is a meme, its crazy easy.
Why is mine so much worse?
Squat 120kg
Press 320kg
you have a mechanical advantage while doing legpress, it's leverages. I believe there's a formula for transfering your legpress numbers into squat numbers
>>41769689
I can leg press like 400+kg (never tried to do less than 10 reps) with a 255kg max squat.

Jaysus that's weak op
Age, sex, weight?
how does this not make sense?
in the leg press it's just pure leg power. with the squat you have to use other muscles to keep yourself from falling over

The leg press is usually done at a 45 degree angle. Which mean you only lift half of the weight you put on it.
You didnt leg press 110kg but 55kg.
If thee machine movement was vertical then you would work with the full weight.

have you been lifting for four days?
>>41770527
>>41770636
26/m/84kg. I started lifting 3 weeks ago. I just wondered why one of the numbers was so much higher.
>>41770598
If you put it that way it would be sin(45) ~ 0.7, not 0.5 but otherwise that makes sense, thanks.

>Squat 120kg
> leg press 280kgx16
