I can swim 50m under 60 seconds. is it too slow?

You're currently at 0.83 m/s. If you want to make it you need to swim as swiftly as a mako shark (hence the name), which is 20.56 m/s in bursts. Just increase your current speed roughly 25 fold and you're good.

Is that sustained speed or sprinting?
