My SI joint has been tightening up recently. i backed off of weight on squat and deadlift to correct form and work my weight back up, but I'm worried that i'm gonna keep aggravating this to the point of injury. What do I do /fit/?

How do you know it's SI joint pain?
Does your pain get worse with flexion or extension of your back?

I start noticing a tension in my lower back between my spine and my right hip primarily during squats and then deadlifting makes it hurt worse. I've started stretching it out and it wasn't as bad after my previous lift but i backed off like 14kg. There was one time that i had to lay down on a bench after a set and massage it out because it had tightened up so bad.
