I dunno, because I don't want to keep fluctuating on my weight gain and loss. Plus it fucked with me hugely mentally. I was thinking about just tough it out and bulk for just a little longer. I don't have a lot of muscle to cut down to either.

I trained as a super heavy for Olympic weightlifting, meaning I permabulked for several years. When I quit, I leaned out.

I still do heavy compounds and Olympic weightlifting, but I mix in more bodybuilding now, with a focus on squat, dead, pull ups, rows, press, dips, db incline. Accessory work for each major compound, e.g. GHR for squat, RDL for dead, upright db rows for press, etc. I don't do flat bench very much, and when I do it's at the end of my workout.

I lift every day, sometimes twice a day. I want to get in a certain amount of work, i.e. tonnage moved, per week, for each exercise.

That means I can squat 1x or 5x a week, so long as I get all the work done. I might do rows and press on Monday, then a quick squat on Monday PM. Then I do deadlift and press on Tuesday. Then Wed, I squat and do oly lifts, etc. I don't have a fixed program, and I lift more by feel.

That being said, I've been doing it for almost 10 years now. What works for me today will not work for you. I would recommend doing SS for 1 year, then 5x5 for another year, then 5/3/1 or something else, so long as you're consistently improving and you're getting to the gym 3-4x a week minimum.

Lift heavy, eat big and SLEEP (most important) and you will grow. It's all about consistency.

Thanks man. I'm gonna keep bulking then. I spent too long being 160-175lbs at 6ft. It's time for me to climb to the 200s.

I personally do a fullbody 3-4x per week, one day focusing on squat, bench, and weighted pull ups ~ and the other day OHP, deadlift, and row. Then I throw in high volume accessories as I see fit.

Also forgot to mention I'm on babys first 500mg test e cycle, so maybe I could get away with my heavy ass bulk

My lower chest seems to lack any shape at all. Is it due to no muscle development or body fat?
Also, is 170 a good goal weight to cut to? I feel any lower then that would be too skinny but I have a skewed vision of what a good weight would be.
