Sounds like you could've made a better judgement call on that one.

>Get excited over oly videos
>Still have shit teknik
>Still can only clean 185 lb
reminds me of the pasta of the guy who never did squats before trying to do BW squats, can someone post it?
>doing an exercise you've never done before with weights
Jackass, you should've started and warmed up with an empty bar and when perfected, add as little as 5 pounds each week until you perfect each weight with impeccable form. You deserved it for lacking common sense. Also, most of these olympic weight lifters always had a coach behind them.
Dumbass.

Buddy I'm not saying it was a good idea. I made a terrible mistake and wanted to share.
It was just a kind of "in the moment" thing. I watched some videos, got excited, loaded the bar and went for it.

I've been there OP. How's your shoulder now?
Unlucky OP. Next time start with really light weight then addd in very small increminents to work out where a safe starting point is. Olympic lifts scare the shit outta me - if I wanted to do them I'd hire a proper coach to teach form.

Everytime I see kids "trying" out the snatch it looks horrible, like they are muscleing up the weight instead of using momentum and technique. You'll be wiser next time, also better start working on those rotator cuff muscles bro.

You're an idiot.
