Trying to run a 2.4k without slowing down and maintaining a 8-9mph pace.
I hit a brick wall around 9 minutes and HAVE to take a 60 second break.
What should I eat and drink before running that will help me endure the pain?
I currently drink coffee and eat a tuna/pasta dish
Also can you recommend me a good running shoe for £45 or less?
Finally, how do I deal with shin splints in my left leg? I try and run as little as possible to let it heal, but it really isn't healing.
Preparing for the air force btw, don't have to be as fit as the guys in infantry lol
