My gym may be closing down due to a lack of business. I love it so much, its an old school bodybuilding gym where everyone knows everyone, and nobody cares if you make a mess, grunt, or drop your weights. The Owner said he may have to shut it down in a few months and the only other gyms within a 15 mile radius of me are a snap fitness and an anytime fitness. My world is crumbling before my eyes, I DONT WANT TO WIPE MY FILTH OF THE EQUIPMENT, I DONT WANT TO GENTLY PUT DOWN MY WEIGHTS, I DONT WANT TO USE THE SMITH MACHINE FOR EVERYTHING, I DONT WANT TO WORK OUT WITH OVERWEIGHT MOMS AND CREEPY USED CAR SALESMEN, I WANT MY FUCKING GYM BACK!
I dont know what to do, I think i'm losing it guys
Ask other people who go there which gym they're switching to?

Buy the cage, bar, and weight from the owner, my man.
Take out a loan and grab co-ownership

They are all flipping out too.... there is going to be a gymbro holocaust when the gym closes, we were the last bastion of hope in the entire area...

The owner is relocating out of the area, I would buy it off him if I could

I went to an anytime for awhile, it really wasn't bad but there's no telling how yours is. Rip your gym though, sounds nice.

Do they have squat racks and deadlift platforms?
