so I decided it was time to lose some weight. I'm not exactly fat (100 kilos, 2 metres tall) but the excess abdominal goodies are starting to show. so I went for a run, but now my left foot hurts like hell. I'm barely able to step on it and I can't effectively walk. what the fuck is this, /fit/? will it go away? ot do I need to cut it off before it spreads lol

Did you twist your left ankle?

Check to see if the ankle area or anything else is swollen.

If it is use the RICE method:

Rest
Ice
Compression
Elevation

Lie down and place your foot up high by putting pillows underneath it.

Use a bandage or anything similar to compress the swollen area.

Put ice on it for 10-15 minutes every hour / 2 hours.

Keep it compressed after etc.

If you do this right for 48 hours you shouldn't be injured too long

nah, it's not swollen or anything and it doesn't hurt when I'm not walking. it's when my foot bends while walking that I get this strong tear-sorta pain..

should probably get an ultrasound on that.
also take that shit easy, the bigger you are, the harder running is on your ankles/feet.
in the mean-time, you can lose weight with some high volume circuits.
