I'm currently following the leddit ppl routine:
PULL
Deadlifts 1x5+/Barbell rows 4x5, 1x5+ (alternate, so if you did deadlifts on Monday, you would do rows on Thursday, and so on)
3x8-12 Pulldowns OR Pullups OR chinups
3x8-12 seated cable rows OR chest supported rows
5x15-20 face pulls
4x8-12 hammer curls
4x8-12 dumbbell curls
PUSH
4x5, 1x5+ bench press/4x5, 1x5+ overhead press (alternate in the same fashion as the rows and deadlifts)
3x8-12 overhead press/3x8-12 bench press (do the opposite movement: if you bench pressed first, overhead press here)
3x8-12 incline dumbbell press
3x8-12 triceps pushdowns SS 3x15-20 lateral raises
3x8-12 overhead triceps extensions SS 3x15-20 lateral raises
LEGS
2x5, 1x5+ squat
3x8-12 Romanian Deadlift
3x8-12 leg press
3x8-12 leg curls
5x8-12 calf raises
I now want to implement farmers walks into my routine due to shit grip strength, and I was wondering what day it would be ideal to do it. As you can see, I deadlift on pull and leg day, but I do lateral raises on push day so I'm not really sure what day that would be optimal in regards to recovery.

leg day, because it's mainly a leg exercise.
>cock won't give me cancer you weak willed faggot.
>optimal recovery
>ppl
choose one

Alright. Im left with the impression that it's a stronger emphasis on traps and forearms, but that might be wrong (?)

I'm making way better gains on PPL than I ever did doing full body. It might not be optimal, but I really enjoy hitting the gym that often anyway

dynamic activity vs static activity
if you feel the stress in your traps pulling down your lifts on push day, stop doing it
about what you wrote to the other anon - I used to do PPL too, made decent gains but it was just fun getting to work out everyday.
had to quit because of job/life stuff

i do farmers walks on leg day, yoke walks on push day, and prowler pushes on pull day

Alright, cheers. And yeah, I probably wont be able to keep up PPL once my med studies start, but when you got spare time and the alternative is being bored at home, its great hitting the gym six times a week

Seems like a ton of leg work. Arent you too fatigued in your legs for your squats, deads etc?
>PPL
How does it feel to suck
