Friend of mine had this surgery done, not due to being an insecure man child but due to being born with one leg shorter than the other.

While it works, it is hell. Very painful and relatively risky. As others have said, you'll never run or play most sports again. You might even struggle to walk for any distance.

You also won't be able to do heavy lifts involving your legs, which means no heavy squatting or deadlifts. So good luck trying to put on any size even on your upper body. You could be a disproportionate curlbro I suppose...
