Some are a lot worse and use it to "shadow box" (using that term lightly because they do it horribly) and look plain retarded.

Meh well for pull up, chins and dips I'd say a weight belt is superior.

The only utility I can see it for is push-ups and box jumps. Push-ups are inferior to dumbells and barbell bench in my view. Box jumps in terms of leg growth are also inferior to squats. So you just look like a meme douche.

But if you do box jumps to increase your vertical jump and explosiveness then there's that.
