If you mean not eat, then it is something like 3 weeks.

But if you mean a caloric restriction, then there are many many variables.

How about instead, you make healthy eating a lifestyle choice. You don't need to calorie count all the time - it is a good idea to do it for a bit, so you get a fair idea of what suitable portion sizes look like. Healthy eating isn't about broccoli and boiled chicken, it is about balance and making sensible choices combined with basic self responsibility.

And unlike periodic "diets" the results are long lasting and you can enjoy life.
