I had the same problem. as I got stronger and built up back muscle the discomfort went away. i recommend reducing load on the squat to where it isn't painful, gradually increasing, and go hard on The Press, and other back workout like rows, and my personal favorite, handstands, will give you a killer back
Grow some traps you fag.
Squat high-bar. Acquire traps , wear a t-shirt rather than vest. you can put a towel across your shoulders which should be enough.
DO NOT under any circumstances use the pussy pad!
