I was reading an old book by a psychotherapist now thought to be a bit of a quack, calling boners brought about by yohimbine as being shitty fake boners
does yohimbine give boners and how do they differ from regular boners

it's an alpha-2 adrenergic antagonist. brown adipose tissue have more a2 receptors (anti-lipolysis) than beta receptors (pro-lipoolysis). by attaching to and deactivating the a2 receptors on the BAT, yohimbine should in theory allow these adipocytes to release more free fatty acids than they normally would. a2 blockade in the CNS should also increase serum levels of norepinepherine by inhibiting a negative-feedback loop that is supposed to keep NE from getting too high. NE getting too high results in the anxiety attacks some people get with yoh.

inhibits the effect on alpha-2 fat receptors - i.e. it helps to get rid of stubborn fat (for males think lower abdominal / lower back fat). Here is a good forum thread to skim through :

OP here, hopefully someone can help here. I weight 210 lbs and from everything I've read you are supposed to take .2 mg per kg/body weight... But the back of this says to only take one and these are 5 mg capsules. How many should I be taking?

If you're fat, yoh isn't for you. It's for dudes already in the teens BF% or lower. EC stack is better for fatties.
