Can doing cardio alone get you /fit/? My "personal doctor", wich is family btw, After finding out that I have been working out, told me to stick to swiming and some cardio vids she sent me. Tells me doing lifts before 25 will fuck up my spine and stuff, and even make me shorter. I kiiiiinda belive the first part but i know the second its just not true
Anyway she basiclly told me, as I said before, to stick to some cardio vids she sent me. Can cardio alone increase your muscle mass? Not sure so I wanted a second opinion. Thanks in advance

Then go home and do hours of research, print out articles displaying the benefits of weight lifting and try to find any evidence of lifting harming your spine/strengthening the muscles around it and highlight them.

Nah, the limit is 15. Doing heavy lifting before the age of 15 is dangerous, as it can damage your spine and prevent further growth. I don't know what shit country you live in, but usually people are done increasing in height way before they are 25.
And sure, lifting WRONG will fuck up your spine, lifting right won't.
