1/2/3/4 progress thread

>What is 1/2/3/4
1/2/3/4 is the goal. It's a feather in your cap. Until you hit 1/2/3/4, are you even lifting? It's considered the point where you have solid lifts, and can confidentially say "I lift". Room for improvement, yes, but you're no longer dyel.

>Seriously, what's 1/2/3/4
Being able to OHP a bar with a 45lb plate on each side, benching a bar with two 45lb plates on each side, squat with three 45 lb plates on each side and deadlift with four 45 lb plates on either side. All with good form. Some debate over whether a 1rm is enough, or for reps; generally people just include whether they're stating their lifts for 1rms or for reps.

>I've never seen one of these threads before; what is it and how does it relate to sipping?
You post your progress on hitting 1/2/3/4. What're you doing? Have you already reached it? Feeling hopeful? Discuss reaching this milestone.
As always, check your ego at the door. Ignore "lol, did that on my first day" posters.

Op goes first.

Currently at 1/1.5/2/2.5

Returning to lifting so I'm pretty happy with those lifts, but had to deload because of a form issue. Doing ICF, so hopefully I'll hit 3 plate squat relatively soon. I'd love to end the year with a 3pl8 squat.

5'10. Started lifting in October. Going for THICC but I just look like garbage.

Started at 65lb/95/185/135 for 1RM. Currently at 145/195/305/335 for 5RM. High-bar ATG pause squats and pause bench.

Says back is strong AF, yet only rows 165. Yeah sure bro.

>row isn't matching pullup
>pullup is better than chinup
Maybe you have improper form on your pullups?
>>
I only have dumbbells. What's the equivalent of 1/2/3/4 on dumbbells? Also, I don't squat, I lunge because it would be crazy to squat heavy-ass dumbbells on my shoulders.
>>
>>41714950
80 pound dumbell seated OHP.
100 pound dumbell press.

There is no dumbbell that you can practically use for squat or deadlift at that weight.
>>
>>41714964
What about doing a single leg deadlift or bulgarian split squat?
>>
>>41714982
It's still not feasible since the form itself is simply different. Even if you do split squats, it's going to eliminate a large need for the core since the weight is hanging from the arms and not balanced on top of the core itself. It'll be like lifting with a belt and shrugging the weight at the same time. They're inherently different muscles. The ROM is different, the muscles worked are different. Even on Bulg. split squats, you're using hamstrings and glutes from the back leg to assist.

Same story with deads. You're changing the inherent composition of the lift too much for it to transfer over.
