But you drive 30 minutes out of town into the boonies, and you'll see some pretty fucking crazy fat people, as well as some short ones.

Obviously, being taller is better for women, because height has and will always be associated with successful males. Being taller means you are weigh more than your shorter peers without being burdened by fat, and can physically dominate women (which short guys realistically can't do).

I'm going off on a bit of a tangent, but hear me out. When we were proto-humans living on the savannah, being tall was good because it meant you could see farther, and you could have more muscle mass to fight. Thus, height became a sexually desirable feature, and you see it played out today.

I'm 5'10" and a lot of the guys I work with are 6' to maybe 6'2" but they're all twigs with slender frames so I'm not really jelly.
