Doing a PPL when youre still clearly a novice was your worst mistake. Seriously dude just bite the bullet and do SS for 8 months while you bulk and add accessories for arms every other workout. I go to my uni rec center and I talk to people they always say theyre doing PPL and they look dyel af. I started on SL and IM finishing my cut right now and im in the top 10% of my gym and have keep my strength and gained strength.

LOL at the hard gainer. My friend was like you and I kept fucking telling him that all he needs to do is track his calories and weigh his food. After 6months of getting nowhere he finally trys it and turns out he always eats below his TDEE who would of fucking thought.
If your not:

Yeah give yourself a wide window for the cut period and do it slow about 1lb a week. Continue on a strength routine and mix in volume sets. Running once a week maybe twice

Yeah add in a cardio day after your third day of lifting. Run/jog some miles. Pullups chinups and every variation of pullup crunches to work abs. This should day should be kept under an hour. Also rest days are good stop being a dyel
