This shits my trigger. I wasted 5 months doing SS with Jack shit to show for it beside large legs And "I squatted 2 and a half pl8s bro lol" I became frustrated and started doing PPL 2 months ago and the progress has been incredible. If your goal is to do strongman competitions by all means do high weight low reps. But for the average dude just do PPL you'll look better and you'll feel much stronger

I honestly don't know what you're doing wrong, I've done SS-"ish" for about three months starting from never having worked out in my life, 30 years old, and I definitely both see and feel results. People have actually commented that I look a lot stronger etc.

My stats are garbage, let's just say I hit 1pl8 bench the other week, which is why I'm surprised that no one else seems to see any results from SS. I don't do GOMAD though, I eat proper food with added protein shakes, creatine and ZMA.

I achieved meh results from it. It brought up my strength definitely, but strength based workouts won't make you huge. I transferred the strength I gained doing stronglifts into PPL which is more of a hypertrophy based program which works much better for me. I easily doubled my gains in my upper body in the first month.
