Why aren't you supplementing creatine? It's basically a must for people who lift weights.

I eat a lot of red meat, should I still supplement creatine?
I've been using good ole' fashion creatine monohydrate.
Will creatine HCL or creatine ethyl ester make a noticable difference or are they just supplement memes?
>>41692122
Yes, you only really get around one or so grams a day from red meat as opposed to 5g from supplementation.

Everything but monohydrate is a meme

I stopped taking creatine about half a year ago and just remembered yesterday I still have a half full tub of it so I started taking it again. I'm currently cutting, so I don't know if this is the best idea but I won't know unless I try, I guess.
I was also fooled by the beta alanine jew and still had a bag from my protein and started taking that too again before my workout yesterday. I completely forgot how good those tingles feel.

I beg to differ. Maybe the gut doesn't get bloated looking, but it makes my muscles look kinda "fluffed." The whole point of creatine is to provide your muscles to retain more water with the presence of the amino acids. Kinda gives muscles a swollen look, and I noticed in HS wrestler kids always had a kind of soft, squishy look, and less of a ripped look.
But whatever, creatine isn't bad and I see the benefits of it. I don't take it because I don't like paying for a bunch of shit I don't currently need.

Why does everybody say Creatine ethyl ester is the best? Also it's really not that much more expensive than regular creatine
