Don't listen to this guy, I did ACE and it's not a home test, open book, or unlimited time. It's also the one that all the gym owners recommended and several highly qualified physical therapists told me I should get. I did it and what you get out of it will depend on what you put in. It is defiantly possible to just get by on the test but if you really work on it and study it you can learn a lot. I would definitely recommend ACE but how much you learn and how good you are will be up to you.

OP here, I just enrolled with NASM. This should be a nice counter balance to flight school. Most of the people in the video lectures NASM had provided look DYEL as hell.

I'm also thinking about it, bc I would love to train the kids at my gym and getting paid for it. There are so many who do the usual crul bro shit, that makes me cringe harder than OPs vid.

But as far as I can tell, the trainers licences I can get in my country are a scam. You have three levels which are basically weekend courses and you just exchange money for a certificate.
Also I wanna help these kids and everyone else who seeks to get strong & ripped and not sell them fart powders.

I'm curious about this too. It seems like the pay can vary. I have been thinking of maximizing being the home gym master race and teaching people on my set up.

Don't bother teaching them real information. Just teach them meme shit.

Most people want a quick and easy way to lose weight. It takes so fucking long to teach them "Yes, calories is the only thing that matters. No, fat does not make you fat." And forget about actually getting them to get a workout done. Most people are just as lazy in the gym as out of the gym. Get them to feel like they had a good workout without the work. Like 20+ reps at 5 lb weights

If they wanted correct information, they'd be looking for a coach.
