Ran a 3/wk full body for a month, using 10x3 on compound lifts. The middle training was lower in volume. Shit went well, until 4th week, when the two last trainings went to shit.

I'm thinking about dropping volume hard, doing sets of 3x8 on compounds, and then trying maxes one week later, to see if my lifts are peaking or not.

If I may:
Don't go as light as 8 reps, keep the intensity and even increase it a bit (I assume it's not all too high since you're doing ten sets). Three sessions of that, then drop the intensity (no lower than 70% or so) while still keeping the reps low for another three sessions. Then you can try to max.

It's not pants-on-head retarded. Experimenting is good. Learn to know yourself.
You don't need to run a "real" program, but if you're running your own, it's wise to make sure it adheres to the principles.

My squat fucking sucks but its getting better and I've figured the cause of my problem. It's a glute/hip thing, I tried knees out for so long and it didnt work but when I squat with a band around my knees I can finally squat perfectly neutral and upright.

I'm doing bodyweight squats with a band on rest days to hopefully repattern this and it works my glutes.

How many bodyweight squats are too many and will affect my recovery? More is better with a correction drill right?

The nearest powerlifting club on the list posted recently on the federation's facebook page (since they don't even have a website, I'm not kidding) is about 2 hours traveling. I really don't want to pay for another gym membership which I'll never use, just so I have the opportunity to then pay additional fees to enter a meet. A gymbro of mine (who's not interested in competing in powerlifting) said I should just start up a club in this region of the country since there are none east of Brussels even. But 1) I'm a newbie, when I go through a peaking phase I might hit a 300 wilks, seems really weird to start my own powerlifting club at this level and 2) I'm one or two years from graduating uni and I don't know where in the country I'll find employment, don't know if it's a good idea to take up responsibilities here that probably no one would want to carry on should I leave this city.

Not sure what to do. Should I look into lolfeds? Can any dutchbros tell me if you're required to be part of a certain limited amount of powerlifting clubs in the Netherlands in order to enter KNKF competitions? If not I might just look for meets close to the border or sth.
