Looking at investing in a pair of lifting shoes. Considering PL 3.0s, Adipowers, and Romaleos. Any experience or recommendations?
they're a meme.
unless you actually do olympic lifts.
otherwise just work on your mobility and you won't even need them.

I own pic related, they look ugly asf but they do the trick I guess.

I also own PL 3.0, they're neat I guess, but try the size in a store, don't just order online blindly
Gonna buy those when I get the rubles.
Pic related. Had em for 7 years and still GOAT. Flat af for diddlies and skuats

best cost/quality weightlifting shoes are either do-win gong lu 2/3s or VS athletics

i own a pair of VS athletics shoes.
they're okay but the laces are shit, be sure to switch them out for better ones
adidas handball spezial works for me, it has the hard bottom, but its only a good shoe for some foot shapes.
If yurofag buy more mile lift 3

do you have these? how much have you squatted in them? Id be apprehensive about buying something that cheap t b h

I've got the adipowers in your pic. Agreed they don't look great, but they're rock solid. I can't squat without them now, hitting depth is so easy and I have a lot less knee pain now. Adidas sells them for about $80 new on ebay

I have these in white. Been using them for almost 3 years now, and they were worth every penny of the $200 I paid for them. I don't do any olympics lifts either - just use them for DLs, squats, and OHP.
I change out of them when not doing anything in the rack, though, because you notice the heel when walking around in them, like you're wearing boots. It looks a little pretentious to wear them doing abs, curls, etc.

Why would you wear heeled shoes for deadlift
>>41665640
Why I do it:
don't have flat soled shoes
gym doesn't allow barefoot/sock
I should really pickup a pair of converse or something

I've been using nike metcons for a while and really like them. I would not recommend them for olympic lifting of course but for the average guy who wants a more stable shoe they're nice.

i own a pair after my older more expensive shoes got knicked; they're fine. had them about a year and the only issue is the front of the sole is peeling off, will be easily fixable though

heeled shoes do several things
1) place you into a more quad-centric position
2) distribute the weight across the whole of your foot, as opposed to most of it being concentrated on your heels
3) provdes flat, stable platform from which to lift
the benefit I get from 1+2 outweights the extra one inch I have to lift the bar

$50 and flat as fuck

Are Metcons good for squats and bench?
