Pplx2 is my routine I always come back to, replaced back squats with front squats because it's easier on my back.

That wasn't the first time I picked up weights fyi, I had been lifting on and off for years and had a good bit of muscle under all the fat, just that particular period is the fastest I ever got as I was going through a shit patch in my life, but yeah man all I can say is count your macros, I never counted macros before this period of going gym and it makes all the difference especially when cutting. I'm just finishing up this cut now I started in February after a mini bulk of 2 months at around 212.4lbs and now about 189lbs, really looking forward to getting some strength back on a focused lean bulk

I'm just another guy on /fit/, so take my advice with a grain of salt. Make sure your form is as perfect as can be. I've learned it's not all about the weight you're lifting, but that the form is very important too. And maybe throw in a few more reps or accessoires, that's how I make progress.
