started balding heavily when i was 15, on minox and fin now, and its mostly stopped. Thank god my hair can be styled to make it look like I never lost any hair.

I don't shave but I buzz cut without the guard so it's like 1mm long. Everyone thinks I'm bald and I don't mind but I think there's a huge difference in how it looks. I've tried shaving too and instead of the nice matte look of a really short buzz cut it looks like skin.

i've been balding on my crown for a couple years. it started slowly and then accelated pretty fast. I've been using minox for about 4 months now. I have a lot of regrowth, but still not enough to actually grow my hair out. If it's still not working when i'm hitting a year i will probably give finasteride a shot.

Atleast i can grow a big full beard and have a good head shape

I get nice even hair growth everywhere but the front of my chin. the goatee area under my lips, it's completely hairless. I don't want to have a retarded looking beard but I also have to shave every day because elsewhere it grows fast. shit sucks

I am as well. I'm 26, first started (well I first noticed) when I was 22. I didn't notice for a long time because it was receding at the peaks, so I just had that mad scientist look kinda going on. I really started noticing when the whole top started thinning.

I've been on Minox for about 8 months, and it grows a lot of hair. It puts a nice bed of short hairs down where they had been thinning, so it looks like I have a lot more hair than I do. I'm not in denial though, over the years my haircuts have progressively been getting shorter. I anticipate by the time I'm 30 it'll be a buzz cut.

For all the other guys thinning/balding, do yourself a favor and go do a decent barber/stylist whatever and just ask them to give you the cut that looks the best with what hair you have left. Women do not give a shit about clean, /fit/ bald guys. They do however, find combovers and in denial haircuts a huge turnoff.
