Can your body really only absorb ~30g of protein per meal?

it absorbs all of it but only about 30-50 grams depending on the quality of the protein is used for muscle protein synthesis. the rest is converted in to energy.

I have only 4 hour eating windows and since I am cutting, I consume around 2k calories and 260-280g of protein ( 86kg, 185cm ) and so far - so good, dropped 4 kgs in 4 weeks.

I'd need to drop down to 83 most likely for abs to show completely
